Gamer builds "surprisingly good PC" for 300 €, but screamed

A gamer has explained that he has assembled a fleet gaming PC for just 300 euros. But he has scalded so he only comes to 300 euros. Nevertheless, his approach is quite impressive and would certainly not make everyone .

Assemble a gaming computer for around 300 euros, which will make FULL-HD easy today? That sounds in our current situation where graphics cards are being sold to Irrren on Ebay, pretty utopian.

A gamer has actually managed that now, but has quite guiled to really pay only $ 350 (about 300 euros).

What did he do? The idea of the Gamer was to ask his neighbors and colleagues for old components in order to save money in this way. He then purchased the missing components such as a graphics card with his limited budget of $ 350.

An interesting PC has come out, which he calls itself as "surprisingly good PC", which also creates current title with Full HD resolution (1080p). How he did that, we tell you in this article.

Gamer launches "donation campaign" for his gaming PC

In a reddit thread in the "build a pc" -Subeddit he explains how he has done. The Reddit Post we have embedded you here:

How did he go? So he had asked neighbors and friends for help and to components that the persons could no longer use.

And with his request he had been quite successful as he explains. For many neighbors did not need the components no longer needed and should have been glad that someone could still need the old parts.

7 tips to know you before assembling a PC

What did he get everything for free? Due to the "donation campaign" of his neighbors, he got many components without financial effort. So he received power supply, hard drives, various SATA and USB cables and also the memory (2 × 8 GB) for free and can easily use the things in his new PC.

  • Youtuber buys 360-dollar PC at China shop, what does he get for his money?
  • Tech-Youtuber buys cheap gaming PCs on Amazon - is it worthwhile?

The most expensive component for its gaming PC is the graphics card

For what has he paid money now? For a functioning PC, he still needs a processor, a graphics card and a housing. The user explained in detail in his mail, for which he had to spend money in the end:

  • For the PC housing he has paid 45 dollars (40 euros)
  • He bought the CPU cooler for $ 20 (17 euros)
  • For the processor and the motherboard he has paid 80 dollars (70 euros)
  • The graphics card, a GeForce 980Ti, has cost him $ 200 (170 euros)

The graphics card has cost him by far the most budget. In his statement he writes that he was also offered a RTX 2070 super for $ 400, but that would have blasted his budget.

That's his conclusion: The user does not seem to bother his approach and is very satisfied at the end. He achieved his goal and the PC can easily create games in Full HD resolution. And he can recommend his approach to other users who are also just under checkout. So he writes:

For everyone out there, which it wants with a low budget [a PC], it is possible - asks around, turns on display, are persistent and determined.

What do you think about the incidence of the user? Would you make something like that or do you think that's a completely crazy idea? Would you also make unused hardware at acquaintances?

If you also want a new PC, but you do not feel like such actions, then you could also look at current gaming laptops. Meinmmo explains what you should consider when buying a gaming laptop.
