Oculus Quest 2: Basic model with 128 instead of 64 gigabyte storage space confirmed

Update of 28 July 2021, 16:56 clock:

As Mixed.de reports, Facebook has now confirmed the changed entry-level model of the Oculus Quest 2 with 128 gigabyte storage space. This revision is after 24 August in the trade and replaces the 64-gigabyte version for the same price (349 Euro). This is probably not again valid for Germany, where OCULUS does not offer hardware in the context of litigation (more here).

Original message from 20 July 2021, 12:39 clock:

Will buyers of the cheapest Oculus-quest 2 model in future get 128 gigabyte memory instead of only 64 gigabytes? This scenario looks not unlikely after a few leaks. Uploadvr.com encountered an anonymous packaging photo of a possible new 128 gigabyte model posted on imgur.

Furthermore, a corresponding variant in July had already appeared in the French Store LDLC.com - so Gamergen.com \ - at about the same price as the former 64-gigabyte variant (349.96 euros). Another note is a screenshot from the manga "Shonen Jump Plus", which has now been removed. There, only models with 128 and 256 gigabytes were mentioned in a display.

So far, the quest 2 is offered in the variants with 64 and 256 gigabytes - but not in Germany (more about the local sales stop here). Incidentally, the interlocutors in the podcast "Vr Download" by uploadvr.com showed that the disappearance of the 64-gigabyte version from Facebooks official US store could also be an indication of the changeover. There, the old "small" variant was no longer available for quite a while.

In addition, Facebook in future promised larger VR titles on the platform, including a special VR implementation of Resident Evil 4 or Ubisoft title from the Series Assassin's Creed and Splinter Cell. The rumor for the possible 128-gigabyte model of the portable VR system has not commented on Facebook so far.

About FFXIV Constant 90002 Error

Frankly, your ISP won't solve the problem either. After getting in touch with upper tier support the last time i had this problem and having my path changed by them, It didn't result in much change. It's Square Enix's ridiculous servers and the paths that have to be taken to get to them. It should be their job to fix this problem, not ours. The reality is if your connection is fine to everything else, then it isn't you or your ISP. It's certainly no ISP related issue when half of my FC across 12 different providers all started getting 90k's the night of 3.3 and still continue to, even after the most recent "fix" on the 16th. 90xxx errors are errors that says "connection dropped somewhere".
