Tests in FF14 and how they work

What are tests in Final Fantasy XIV? Tests, or in English trials, usually individual boss fights are normally. You will be done in most cases in a group of 8 players consisting of 2 tanks, 2 healers and 4 DDS (Damage Dealers). The level of difficulty of optional tests is based on those that enables her in the story.

An exam is mostly built so that you are caught together with your group a single room where the opponent is already waiting for you. Only in a few exceptional cases there are several rooms or additional monster groups.

From the Heavensward expansion, there are exams that are brought to its own, large and exciting secondary history. The unlocking is not only worthwhile for fans of large boss fighting, but also for players who love Story.

What rewards are there in exams? On the normal difficulty, there is no bootet chest after the fight for most tests. For the conclusion of an exam, your allagic stones you can exchange for equipment. There are also:

  • Chance on craft objects from which one can produce items
  • Chance on Triple Triad playing cards to the boss

These rewards are available directly into the inventory. If you exclude an exam for the first time, then you get extra rewards in the form of bonus-exp and additional allagic stones.

What are high-stage tests? The high-step tests are called Extreme Trials in English. So do not be wondering when players talk about extreme or ex. They are a heavier version of the exams, but completely optional. The fighting last longer and the opponents have other or additional skills and are basically stronger.

What rewards are there in high-step tests? There are different rewards for the completion of the high-level exams:

  • Depending on the testing weapons with special appearance, jewelery or armament case
  • Chance for rare craftsmanship
  • Triple Triad playing cards
  • Orchestrion rolls
  • Riding

From the Heavensward expansion, there is also a token for each completion of an extreme test, which can be exchanged for a certain number for special retailers against a cute object.

If you want a certain weapon or a mount from an extreme exam, then you do not have to rely exclusively on your drop and dice luck. There is a certain amount of totems to collect.

In addition, you can start the tests from the older extensions without level adjustment. That means in English unsynced. So you can in alone, or in a smaller group targeted rewards.

This is especially important for the level 50s, 60s and 70s ex tests. Only a few players make you unsynced. If you want to make such an exam, then prefer the group search. Even the current high-level exams are organized about it.

On the next pages we explain how to unlock the optional tests.

About FFXIV Constant 90002 Error

Frankly, your ISP won't solve the problem either. After getting in touch with upper tier support the last time i had this problem and having my path changed by them, It didn't result in much change. It's Square Enix's ridiculous servers and the paths that have to be taken to get to them. It should be their job to fix this problem, not ours. The reality is if your connection is fine to everything else, then it isn't you or your ISP. It's certainly no ISP related issue when half of my FC across 12 different providers all started getting 90k's the night of 3.3 and still continue to, even after the most recent "fix" on the 16th. 90xxx errors are errors that says "connection dropped somewhere". You can try rebooting all your stuff (computer or PlayStation, router, wifi, etc) UDP :55296-55551 and TCP :80, 8080, 443, 55296-55551 FFXIV use, be sure to forward them by your router, also I added them to exclusion rules in my windows firewall. ...
