PlayStation comes from Facebook advertisements to protest moderation policies

The PlayStation announced Thursday that it would withdraw its Facebook advertisements for the whole month of July to protest the way the social media site addresses controversial political content. PlayStation joins other large companies such as Microsoft, Starbucks and Coca-Cola who also boycot Facebook. "In support of the campaign #stophateforprofit, we have suspended our Facebook and Instagram activity globally, including advertising and non-paying content until the end of July," said the company in Gamesindustry.biz .
