Final Fantasy XIV has published its notes for the next patch 5.3, and big changes are in progress.
First, the obvious patch. Not only do we get new dungeons and quests - including a new chapter in the raid inspired by Nier: Automata, Yorha: Dark Apocalypse - We also get what looks like a new primordial fight in the Sleep Now in Sapphire mission. Given the prerequisite, Ruby Doomsday, opposing players to the infamous Ruby weapon, it is likely that the quest will face players in Sapphire Weapon. Like Sapphire Weapon has never been fought in Final Fantasy VII, it would make Final Fantasy XIV his first appearance as a confronting enemy in a main Final Fantasy game.
We also get changes in many playable classes, several skills getting improvements. The largest revision is granted to the Astrologian class, with multiple reductions in MP's cost of many of their skills, but to balance that, a skill that reduced the cost of all 50% spells, LightSpeed, a deleted this effect. .
The most important news, however, is the redesign of the free trial. While earlier, the free trial has expanded to level 35 (which is not even a fairly high level to finish the main history of the basic game), the free trial increased it to Level 70, as well as the first extension, heavensward, and all classes included in this extension. Due to the functioning of the class system in Final Fantasy XIV, a character being able to master any or even all classes, you can now level each class to level 70 before deciding to buy the game, if you want. . In terms of free trials, it is about as generous as possible.
