The PlayStation Shop (PS Shop) is an electronic media store offered to users of Sony's PlayStation 3, PlayStation Portable, PlayStation Vita, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 game gaming consoles by means of the PlayStation Network. The shop offers a series of downloadable content both for purchase and offered for free. Readily available material includes complete games, add-on material, usable trials, motifs and game/movie trailers.
PlayStation Now, the Sony games service competes with Microsoft's Xbox Game Pass, unveiled five JRPG classics coming on the platform from this month. Five new Final Fantasy games, from Final Fantasy VII to Final Fantasy XII The Zodiac Age will come out in the next five months.
Final Fantasy VII, the first of the five games, will arrive on September 7th. The other four games are Final Fantasy VIII Remastered, Final Fantasy IX, FINAL FANTASY X | X-2 HD Remaster and Final Fantasy XIII The Zodiac Age. The Games will come out the first week of every successive month, ending with the exit of Final Fantasy XIII The Zodiac Age on January 4, 2022.
Currently, no Final Fantasy game is available on PlayStation Now, JRPG fans will be happy to hear the latest additions. The five games will join the PlayStation Now JRPG collection, which currently includes ADMA and UNDERTAL. However, some exclusives Playstation JRPG notable as Persona 5 Royal and 13 Sentinels: Aegis RIM are not available on PlayStation Now. Therefore, if you plan to subscribe, make sure you check the list of games available.
PlayStation Now offers some of the same features as the Xbox Game Pass: a game list is available to download to your PlayStation. In addition, you can also broadcast PlayStation games on your PC in a cloud game experience.
