One year after the announcement of Final Fantasy 16 on PlayStation 5, the cruel silence of Square Enix continues. Absent from the PlayStation Showcase yesterday, in which, however, was the attractive Forspoken of the same publisher, the next numbered FF is also not the official program of Tokyo Game Show which will take place at the end of the month.
If this official line does not necessarily reveal all the intentions of the publisher, we remember that producer Naoki Yoshida had already taken care of tempering the expectations of the players last July when he declared that FINAL FANTASY 16 May not be ready in time for the appointment of September / October. I thought to show something for the Tokyo Game Show but I do not think we could respect this deadline, said two months ago. Naoki Yoshida wants to avoid jour crumbs to the public and therefore wants to show the game when it is really ready. Miettes, Naoki Yoshida has threw a few throughout the year to compensate for the total silence of Square Enix since the opening of the game's official website was October 29, 2020.
In the meantime, the catalog of Square Enix is obviously not devoid of interest so far because we find in particular Forspoken and Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin which will be entitled to their own special broadcast with Subtitling or English dubbing, October 1st to 15h for one and 2 October at 14h for the other. Dragon Quest X Offline will also be entitled to its segment, which should include to discover the platforms. We will also review Project Triangle Strategy on Switch, but the freshly announced Voice of Cards: The Isle Dragon Roars of Yoko Taro does not appear on the menu.
In addition to these specific streams, Square Enix will open TGS with a new Square Enix program that we can look here on Friday, October 1 at noon.
